Reading the Psalter during the Great Lent

During the Great Lent in the Church is recommended the reading of the Psalter.

First of all, the entire Psalter is appointed to be read through once every week in church (twice during the weeks of Great Lent). In order to do this, the entire 150 Psalms are divided up into 20 kathismata, and each kathisma into three sections, as following the numeration of the Psalms in the Septuagint or Greek Psalter.
